today is the last day of my freshman year at RLC; to be honest, it hasn’t been too bad. i must say that i aced the absolute hell out of my humanities through the arts final (not to sound arrogant, but my essay response was sheer brilliance, if taken in the right manner — it’s very hard to communicate the tone that i was going for without sounding disgustingly pretentious).
speaking of which, i now work for the instructor of that class — rob little — who i find to be stupendous. he has fed my need for kafka books, as well as loaned me a couple of melora creager cds (elation!!), and is a generally spectacular human being (not to mention that i am incredibly fond of his wife, dayna hartley, the photo instructor).
i’ve never felt so artistically and intellectually stimulated in my life.
i had more to blog, but it will have to wait until later — i’m at work and some of the higher-ups are strolling through.
